We are a group of four Spanish wineries located in different regions of Spain and with very marked wine features, which makes our company an ideal partner for the wine distributors who wish to specialize on the vast universe of Spanish wines.
Winemaking Philosophy
We deeply believe that each wine can tell us a story that starts from the vine. This is why we work the land with special care, together with a thorough selection of the grapes, searching for the best way to balance all the different elements to make up a wine with its own personality.
OEM Service
Some importers and distributors need to have their own exclusive labels so that their current marketing efforts can revert into their long term sales success. In Exotic Winds we like to partner with our clients and support them with flexible private labeling services.
Our Wineries
DO Calatayud: Bodegas Valceniza
Valceniza wines are remarkable for their complexity. All the wines show a graceful balance of fruitiness, chocolate and vanilla aromas from the oak, as well a sweet liquorice aftertaste, due to their concentration in minerals.
DOC La Rioja: Las Colasas
The young wines represent the highest expression of the fruitiness, containing round and yet firm tannins.
DO La Mancha: Bodegas Berujón
In Bodegas Berujón we produce varietal wines easy to drink, with clean fruity aromas that remain loyal to their grape variety.
Our Wines
Berujón Expresión Cabernet Sauvignon
From selected terroirs, hand-picked on the 4th week of august, Cherry color with purple borders. Limpid and bright. The nose is dominated by a very ripe and juicy red fruit. A light, smooth, tasty wine, with a marked fruitiness, but very fresh and lively. Well-structured and balanced. Round ending.
Berujón Expresión Tempranillo
This wine is elaborated with Tempranillo grapes, which have been hand harvested in optimum conditions, and elaborated in our winery, close to the famous windmills of the book “Don Quixote de La Mancha”. Well-balanced, full-flavored and with clean fruity finish.
Berujón Expresión Syrah
From selected terroirs, hand-picked on the 4th week of august, Cherry color with purple borders. Limpid and bright. The nose is dominated by a very ripe and juicy red fruit. A light, smooth, tasty wine, with a marked fruitiness, but very fresh and lively. Well-structured and balanced. Round ending.
Berujón Expresión Macabeo
Hand harvested the 2nd week of September.
Pale yellow with greenish bright. Clean fruity aroma, varietal character, apple, banana and floral notes. The palate is soft, lively, fresh, balanced structure and noticeable acidity. Clean aftertaste of fruity character.
Berujon Imperial Crianza
Well ripend tempranillo grapes were aged for more than six months in American oak barrels and the result is a perfect marriage between the fruit and the oak. A daily wine with a fine wine soul, each sip can bring different feelings, ranging from red berries to vanilla, coffee or chocolate.
Berujón Imperial Tempranillo
Conceived to be enjoyed, this wine outstands for its intense fruitiness and smooth palate, which make of this wine one to be easy to drink. Adequate either for the occasional wine drinker or for the demanding consumer. A wine made with the joy and passion for life of Spanish People.
Berujón Real Crianza
This wine is elaborated from a selection of the best grapes of the oldest terroirs of the variety Tempranillo. Deep-cherry color, very honest in nose with aromas of red berries in harmony with oak-aging hints. Well-structured, full-bodied and well-balanced in mouth. Limited production: 10,000 bottles.
Berujón Real Selección
Conceived to be enjoyed, this wine outstands for its intense fruitiness and smooth palate, which make of this wine one to be easy to drink. Adequate either for the occasional wine drinker or for the demanding consumer. A wine made with the joy and passion for life of Spanish People.
Berujón Real Airén White
Harvested by hand the 4th week of September. Pale greenish yellow, bright. Good intensity of fruit aromas, apple, peach skin and floral. The palate is light, fresh, youthful, smooth and balanced acidity. Intense fruity after taste.
Valceniza El Origen Autor
Valceniza El Origen is an expression of the unique terroir of slate vineyard in Calatayud, where the high altitude vines (1000m) produce tiny yields of concentrated garnacha grapes. Valceniza El Origen has been hand-picked in small baskets and aged in new French oak barrels for 11 months, to produce a rich, complex wine.
Valceniza Las Estaciones Crianza
Aged for one year in oak barrel and a further one in bottle, Valceniza Las Estaciones Crianza is part of classic Spanish tradition. The Tempranillo and Garnacha, softened by maturation and under laid with sweet vanilla oak, create a wine that is smooth, round and complex.
Valceniza Las Estaciones Selección
Tempranillo, Spanish best know variety thrives on the deep red valley soils of Calatayud. Elegant and sophisticated, with raspberry and blackcurrant fruit and a touch of sweet oak, Valceniza Las Estaciones Seleccion is a rich, smooth wine.
Las Colasas Crianza
Ruby red of intense depth,with blackberry tones, fruity expression and and hints of wild berries and roasted nuances derived from ageing. Well-balanced and harmonius elegant wine, with a well toasted oak hint to finish.
Las Colasas Selección
Rich cherry red color with a majestic purple rim and an amazing bright reflection of light. The bouquet is full, with powerful red fruit and blackberry aromas with good intensity. The initial taste is fresh and fruity and the delightful flavor lingers a while longer.
Las Colasas Rosé
Light pale cherry color. In mouth is fresh and vibrant with a pleasant acidity. In nose is vibrant and pungent. Its aroma recalls strawberries and cherries and the final is rounded by sweet liquorice aftertaste.
